County Offices Closed Today Due to Power Outage from Storm

BATAVIA, OHIO (Aug. 12, 2026) – About a dozen county offices are closed to the public today, Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2026, due to storm-related power outages. Some may open later today as power is restored. Check back for updates.
Clermont County is under a flood watch through this evening.
Please see the following for information about specific offices. Note: Offices not listed are open as usual.
Animal Shelter
- Animal Shelter (closed to the public)
Building Inspection/Permit Central (2275 Bauer Road)
- Office closed but will perform scheduled building inspections.
Public Heath
- The administration and vital statistics offices (birth/death certificates) at 2275 Bauer Road are closed to the public due to the power outage.
- Check back for updates on the Board of Health meeting scheduled for today at 2275 Bauer Road.
Please note: - Previously scheduled health inspections will be conducted today.
- The nursing division and WIC offices at 2400 Clermont Center Drive/Suite 200 are open.
Clermont Transportation Connection
- Public bus service is running but routes may be delayed.
- The office is closed due to the power outage and cannot receive messages for the time being.
