Emergency Management Agency Assessing Storm Damage, to Give Update Wednesday

BATAVIA, OHIO (Aug. 11, 2026) - Clermont County's Emergency Management Agency is assessing damage from this afternoon's fast-moving storm that caused strong winds, heavy rain and widespread power outages. 

EMA Administrator Shawn Riley said he will share an update with the public tomorrow, Wednesday, Aug. 12.


Riley also said the county is coordinating with Duke Energy to ensure that power is restored as soon as possible for residents and businesses affected by the storm.
