BATAVIA, OHIO (July 17, 2026) - Please see the following message from Clermont County Treasurer Jeannie M. Zurmehly: 

Approximately 38,000 second-half real estate tax bills were mailed on July 14, 2026. The deadline for payment, without penalty, is Friday, Aug. 7, 2026. 

Taxes can be paid by mail or in person at the Treasurer’s Office on the second floor of the County Administration Building, 101 E. Main St., Batavia, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. 

Taxes may also be paid by credit card or e-check at https://clermonttreasurer.org/

A night deposit is located at the Main Street entrance of the Administration Building for payment of taxes after hours.

BATAVIA, OHIO (July 9, 2026) - Due to the implementation of Ohio House Bill 186, second half 2025 real estate tax bills are expected to be mailed no later than July 15, 2026, with a due date of Aug. 7, 2026.

We will provide an update concerning mobile home taxes as soon as a due date is determined.

BATAVAIA, OHIO (June 29, 2026) - Due to implementation of Ohio House Bill 186, Inflation Cap Credit, second half 2025 real estate tax bills and 2026 manufactured home tax bills will be mailed later than usual.

To ensure taxpayers have adequate time to receive and review their bills, due dates will most likely be extended to mid- to late-July, possibly later.

The new "Inflation Cap Credit" may provide some property tax relief to qualifying property owners and will appear as a separate line item on eligible second-half tax bills.

The Clermont County auditor’s office is working closely with the Ohio Department of Taxation and software providers to ensure all credits are calculated and applied accurately before bills are issued.
