All County Roads Reopened

BATAVIA, OHIO (Aug. 17, 2026) – Crews for the Clermont County Engineer have finished clearing storm-related debris off roads throughout the county. 

Monterey Road, Newtonsville-Hutchison and Brushy Fork in _______ were especially hard hit. Those roads were closed to through traffic for five days.

Clermont County sustained significant damage from the storms that brought heavy rain and wind last week across Greater Cincinnati. Approximately 40,000 local homes and businesses
lost power. More than a dozen roads in the county were closed in the wake of the storms as well as a dozen county offices.  

Duke Energy reported that as many as 260,000 customers lost power in Greater Cincinnati.
