National Weather Service Issues Flood Warning Affecting Clermont County  

BATAVIA, OHIO (Feb. 18, 2025) – The National Weather Service has issued an Ohio River Flood Warning for Clermont County until 1:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 21.

Flooding causes more deaths per year than any other severe weather-related hazard.  The majority of flood related deaths are caused when vehicles are driven into high water or pedestrians walk into or near flood waters.   As little as 6 inches of water can knock over an adult and a mere 18 inches of water can carry a vehicle downstream.
