The Board of Clermont County Commissioners will be accepting sealed bids for Janitorial Services for Clermont County, Ohio. All bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope marked: Bid — Janitorial Services 2024. All bids must be received in the office of the Board of Clermont County Commissioners, 3rd Floor, 101 E. Main Street, Batavia, Ohio 45103, no later than 2:00 P.M. local time on December 19, 2024, at which time all bids shall be opened.

Instructions to vendors, specifications, and bid form outlining the terms and conditions of the proposed purchase of services may be obtained by interested parties from Jessica Powell, at the Clermont County Board of County Commissioners, 101 East Main Street, Batavia, Ohio 45103, Phone: (513) 732-7300 or by E-mail (jpowell@clermontcountyohio.gov). Office hours are from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., Monday thru Friday. NOTE: ALL PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS ARE HEREBY CAUTIONED NOT TO CONTACT ANY MEMBER OF THE CLERMONT COUNTY STAFF OR OFFICIALS OTHER THAN THE SPECIFIED CONTACT PERSON.

A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting – the building tour will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, December 9. The tour shall begin in the parking lot in front of the Facilities Management Office, 4001 Filager Road, Batavia, Ohio 45103. **Although it is not mandatory it is highly recommended all bidders attend the pre-bid meeting.

Each bidder must submit their Bid in TRIPLICATE, one (1) original and two (2) copies, with each copy stamped “COPY”. A bid bond or certified check, cashier’s check or money order on a solvent bank or savings and loan association in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid, as per Section 307.88 of the Ohio Revised Code, must accompany the bid. Bid bonds must be filed with original signatures. Facsimile and electronic copies of the bid bond and Power of Attorney of the Surety will be deemed non-responsive.

The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to waive any informalities, reject any or all bids, and hold such bids for a period of sixty (60) days before taking any action and to award a contract to the lowest and best bidder. No Bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
