BATAVIA, OHIO (Jan. 26, 2026) – The Clermont County Sheriff has reduced the assessment of road conditions to Level One, meaning roadways across the county are hazardous and may be icy. Motorist are urged to drive with caution.
County crews will continue to plow and treat roads with salt through Tuesday, Jan. 27, as needed. An estimated eight to 10 inches of snow has been recorded across Greater Cincinnati since late Saturday through last night. Extremely cold temperatures are forecasted through this week. The National Weather Service has issued an Extreme Cold Warning for the area in effect until tomorrow at noon.
Clermont County government offices are closed today. However, the public may contact staff by email and telephone during normal business hours for many offices.

Courts
- Municipal Court is open Monday except for Community Service Work crews.
- Common Pleas, Juvenile, Probate and Domestic Relations Courts are closed, including clerks’ offices.
- Ohio Auto Title offices in Batavia, Milford and Beechmont/Cherry Grove are closed.
Clermont Transportation Connection
- All public bus service is cancelled. If you have questions or need information about your route, please call (513) 732-7433. Leave a voicemail if a dispatcher doesn’t immediately respond. Calls are being monitored and messages will be returned.
Auditor
- Office will be closed. Please leave a message. Staff will respond: (513) 732 – 7150.
Board of County Commissioners
- Offices are closed. Please call (513) 732- 7300 for assistance. Calls are being monitored. Staff will respond to emails and voicemail.

Building Inspection/Permit Central
- The Building Inspection/Permit Central offices is closed. Please call (513) 732-7213 and leave a voicemail. Calls are being monitored and messages will be returned. Note: Permit specialists will be reaching out to applicants with inspections scheduled for Monday to reschedule.
