BATAVIA, Ohio (Sept. 24, 2025) – Probate Judge James Shriver is seeking applicants to serve on the Clermont County Board of Developmental Disabilities.
Applications are due by 4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15. The appointment is a four-year term starting in January 2026.

All board members are volunteers. The individual will be a part of a seven-member board as outlined under Section 5126 of the Ohio Revised Code.
Those interested in applying should be current Clermont County residents, a citizen of the United States, and be interested and knowledgeable in the field of intellectual disabilities and other allied fields. Applicants should also have professional training and experience in business management, finance, law, health care practices, personnel administration, or government services.
This appointment must be filled by a person who is eligible for services provided by Clermont DD or an immediate family member of a person eligible for services.
Individuals interested in serving on the board must submit a cover letter expressing their interest in the seat and a resume along with the application. The applicant must agree to a background check.
