BATAVIA, OHIO (July 25, 2025) – Clermont County will be accepting bids from contractors for a construction project to improve operations at its animal shelter beginning Thursday, July 31 through Thursday, Aug. 21.

The remodeling project, which will allow the shelter to install an industrial-style washer, dryer and dishwasher in an existing room, includes interior electric and plumbing upgrades. It includes drywall and flooring work as well.

The project is estimated to cost $78,920. It is being funded by a donation and county capital funds.
