BATAVIA, OHIO (June 26, 2025) – Appraisers for the Clermont County auditor are making field visits to collect property data as part of a scheduled assessment process.

Staff are currently assessing properties in the Goshen and Batavia areas.

Per Ohio law, the auditor is responsible for determining the value of every property in the county to ensure fairness and accuracy for taxation purposes.

County appraisers visit properties that have changed due to new construction, sales, damage, or demolition.

“If you see our team in your area, they’re simply working to keep property records up to date and accurate,” said Clermont County Deputy Auditor Melissa Schrinner. “We appreciate your cooperation.”
