BATAVIA, Ohio – Clermont County Commissioners will hold a public hearing on the proposed Fiscal Year 2019 Tax Budget at 10 a.m. on Monday, June 25. The hearing will be conducted during the Commissioners’ regular Session.

A Tax Budget is required by Ohio law for those funds supported by tax levies, essentially to show need for the levy, and is required to receive local government funds from the State of Ohio.  The Tax Budget does not have to balance and does not provide departments with any spending authority.  It is Clermont County’s first look at next year and provides a starting point for the appropriations process.
