Public invited to celebrate National Day of Prayer on May 3

BATAVIA, Ohio  — Clermont County Commissioners invite the public to celebrate the National Day of Prayer on the steps of the Clermont County Common Pleas Courthouse at noon on Thursday, May 3. The Courthouse is located at 270 E. Main St., Batavia. In case of rain, the ceremony will be held at Batavia First Presbyterian Church, at the corner of Third and North streets.

The National Day of Prayer is an annual day of observance held on the first Thursday of May. Congress passed a law formalizing the observance in 1952. Clermont County elected officials have celebrated the National Day of Prayer for more than 20 years.
