BATAVIA, Ohio (Nov. 8, 2017) – Clermont County residents who are interested in learning more about improvements to Shor Park in Union Township are invited to a public input meeting from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 16, at Union Township Civic Center, 4350 Aicholtz Road.
Shor Park, 4659 Tealtown Road, is operated by the Clermont County Park District. The proposed improvements include a pavilion housing a picnic shelter and restrooms, and an all-access playground that will allow children of all abilities to use play structures and equipment. Paved walking paths are planned for the site as well.
The meeting will be in an open house format. Residents can talk to project representatives, view drawings and the site plans, and submit comments.
The improvements are possible thanks to a levy approved by voters in November 2016.
