NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TO CHANGE THE NAMES OF PORTIONS OF AICHOLTZ ROAD (T-2549) TO SUMMERSIDE ROAD AND FLURIN LANE, A PORTION OF OLD SR 74 (C-171) TO AICHOLTZ ROAD (T-2549) AND ALL OF RUST LANE (T-970) TO AICHOLTZ ROAD (T-2549)
ALL OF WHICH ARE SITUATED WITHIN UNION TOWNSHIP
The Board of County Commissioners of Clermont County, Ohio, having received a request from Patrick J. Manger, County Engineer, to change the names of a portion of Aicholtz Road (T-2549) to Summerside Road, a portion of Aicholtz Road (T-2549) to Flurin Lane, a portion of Old SR 74 (C-171) to Aicholtz Road (T-2549) and all of Rust Lane (T-970) to Aicholtz Road (T-2549), all of which are situated within Union Township, Clermont County, Ohio, and being more particularly described as follows:
Aicholtz Road to Summerside Road
Situated in Mosley Military Survey No. 1115 and Mathews Military Survey No. 1138 and being a portion of Aicholtz Road, beginning at the northerly R/W line of SR 32 and extending North for a distance of 510’ (0.097 miles) to the centerline intersection of Aicholtz Road and Old SR 74. The total distance of Aicholtz Road to be changed to Summerside Road is 510’ or 0.097 miles and will be maintained as a Township Road.
Aicholtz Road to Flurin Lane
Situated in Mosley Military Survey No. 1115 and Mathews Military Survey No. 1138 and being a portion of Aicholtz Road, beginning at the centerline intersection of Aicholtz Road and Rust Lane and extending North a distance of 260’ (0.049 miles) to the southerly R/W line of SR 32. The total distance of Aicholtz Road to be changed to Flurin Lane is 260’ or 0.049 miles and will be maintained as a Township Road.
Old SR 74 to Aicholtz Road
Situated in Mosley Military Survey No. 1115 and being a portion of Old SR 74, beginning at the centerline intersection with Mt. Carmel-Tobasco Road and extending East a distance of 2,100’ (0.398 miles) to the centerline intersection of Old SR 74 and SR 32. The total distance of Old SR 74 to be changed to Aicholtz Road is 2,100’ or 0.398 miles and will be maintained as a County Road.
Rust Lane to Aicholtz Road
Situated in Mosley Military Survey No. 1115 and being all of Rust Lane, beginning at the centerline intersection with Old SR 74 and extending East a distance of 1,275’ (0.241 miles) to the centerline intersection of Rust Lane and Aicholtz Road. The total distance of Rust Lane to be changed to Aicholtz Road is 1,275’ or 0.241 miles and will be maintained as a County Road.
will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, October 25, 2017, at 10:30 A.M. Local Time in the Office of the Board of County Commissioners, 101 East Main Street, Batavia, Ohio 45103-2960 to consider if there is good cause and if it is in the best interest for said name changes pursuant to and in compliance with Section 5541.04 of the Ohio Revised Code.
