BATAVIA, Ohio (Aug 22, 2017) – The Clermont County Board of Developmental Disabilities (CCDD) is seeking board members to fill three positions beginning in January 2018. Two members will be appointed by the Clermont County commissioners; the third will be appointed by Clermont County Probate Court Judge James Shriver.
Members who are leaving the board due to term limits are Greg Carson, Laurie Benintendi and Harry Snyder.
Those interested must be a current resident of Clermont County. Applicants should have professional training and experience in business management, finance, law, health care practice, personnel administration, or government service. Board members will serve a term of four years.

Regular board meetings are held 10 times a year, usually at 5:30 p.m. on the fourth Thursday of each month. Board members are assigned to committees and are asked to attend 1-2 committee meetings throughout the year. Special board meetings occasionally occur and members are asked to attend as well.
Individuals interested in serving as a CCDD Board member should send a letter of interest by Sept. 8 to Dan Ottke, CCDD Superintendent, 2040 US Highway 50, Batavia. An emailed letter is also acceptable, to dottke@clermontdd.org.
