BATAVIA, Ohio (June 7, 2016) – The Clermont Transportation Connection has added 12 buses to its fleet.

The new buses seat 16 passengers, and accommodate two wheelchair passengers, said Lisa Gatwood, Director of CTC. Eight buses, which were purchased from 2006-09, will be auctioned off.

The new buses cost about $892,000 and were paid for primarily through grants, Gatwood said.

With the new buses, CTC will have a fleet of 30 buses.

CTC offers both fixed routes and Dial-A-Ride service. The fixes routes are from New Richmond and Amelia to downtown Cincinnati, plus a shuttle from Felicity and Amelia to Eastgate. Dial-A-Ride provides door-to-door service throughout Clermont County. Read more about CTC’s services on its website.
