BATAVIA, Ohio (Dec. 17, 2015) — It’s been a mild winter so far, but don’t get complacent. If we do get hit by a snowstorm or prolonged cold, is your vehicle ready for the challenge?
Winterize your vehicle. Check, or have a mechanic check:
• Tires and Battery – Do they need to be replaced before winter weather hits?
• Antifreeze levels
• Lights/hazard lights
• Brakes
• Heater and defroster
Have these items on hand in your vehicle:
• Shovel
• Windshield scraper and small broom
• Flashlight
• Battery powered radio
• First aid kit
• Blanket
• Booster cables
• Emergency Flares
