Humphrey CCAO nominationCOLUMBUS, Ohio (Dec. 11, 2014) — The County Commissioners Association of Ohio (CCAO) is pleased to announce that Clermont County Commissioner Edwin Humphrey has been selected to serve as 2nd vice president of the 2015 CCAO board of directors.

“I’m honored to have been chosen to help guide CCAO’s leadership as we work for the betterment of county government for the citizens of Ohio,” Humphrey said.

Humphrey has served on the CCAO board since 2011. He was elected to serve as the 2nd vice president of the CCAO board of directors by his peers at their annual Winter Conference Dec. 7-9 in Columbus, Ohio. The conference offered a variety of sessions and access to expert presenters on a wide range of topics, including water quality, cyber security, emergency response, shared service approaches and workforce development. “Gaining access to expertise and networking with peers allows me to bring home ideas and approaches that help me to be a more effective commissioner,” Humphrey said.

“Commissioner Humphrey brings a great deal of expertise that will serve our association well,” said CCAO Executive Director Suzanne Dulaney. “I have enjoyed working with him as a board member and look forward to working with him in his new capacity as 2nd vice president.”

The County Commissioners Association of Ohio supports effective county government for Ohio through legislative advocacy, education and training, technical assistance and research, quality enterprise service programs, and greater citizen awareness and understanding of county government.
