The Ice Storm Warning will be in effect from 4:00 PM today until 10:00 AM on Wednesday, February 5, 2014. Ice accumulations of one quarter to one half inch are expected. Snow and sleet will vary from a half inch up to four inches.
Wintery precipitation will spread across our region late this afternoon and this evening. An onset of freezing rain, sleet, and snow is expected to change over to all freezing rain later this evening. The freezing rain will be moderate to heavy at times as it continues into the overnight hours. The storm will change over to rain / light wintery mix by Wednesday morning.
