Power is expected to be restored soon to the City of Loveland. Duke Energy crews have been working diligently throughout the day to repair the high-tension power line that was damaged overnight.
The City of Loveland opened warming centers for residents to charge cellular phones and escape the extreme cold temperatures during the power outage. The Symmes Township Safety Center and the Loveland Safety Center Warming Centers will close at 6:00 PM today.
The tri-state area will remain under a Wind-Chill Warning until 5:00 PM on Tuesday. If residents of the City of Loveland or Symmes Township have weather-related needs, please contact the Northeast Communication Center at (513) 677-7000.
