Warming Centers Open in Loveland

iciclesClermont County Public Safety Agencies are aware of the power outage that is affecting the Clermont County and Warren County portions of the City of Loveland.  Duke Energy is on the scene and is working diligently to restore power.  Duke has reported that a high-tension power line has been damaged and that it will take several hours to restore power to the affected area.

Due to the extreme cold weather, the City of Loveland will be opening warming and charging centers.  Two warming and charging centers will be open at 12:00PM.

Residents affected by the outage are welcome to come to the warming centers. The warming and charging centers will allow those without power the opportunity to charge cellular phones and escape the extreme cold temperatures.  The centers will provide electrical outlets.  Residents must provide their own chargers.
Residents may contact Duke Energy at (800) 543-5599 or via their website at www.duke-energy.com for additional information related to the power outage.   Please do not call 9-1-1 or local police for updates on power restoration because they will not have this information.
