The Commissioners joined Clermont Senior Services and honored guests to celebrate the opening of Dimmitt Woods senior housing facility on Friday, July 12.
This is the seventh senior housing project spearheaded by Clermont County Senior Services in our region. Dimmitt Woods is an independent living facility with 40 units. It is rent subsidized and features carpeted rooms with individually controlled air conditioning and heating. In addition, each unit has emergency medical pull cords, sprinkler systems and smoke detectors. An elevator, coin-operated laundry room, library and popular common rooms are available for residents. These common rooms are important to residents because they promote friendships and socialization!
Supportive services, such as personal care, homemaking, Meals-on-Wheels and transportation are additionally available through Clermont Senior Services. These services often make the difference in a senior living independently. “We are excited about the opening of our newest senior apartment building and delighted to be able to offer a broad range of services to the residents,” said Cindy Gramke, Executive Director of Clermont Senior Services.
