Batavia, Ohio. The remains of Spec. Gregory Missman, the Clermont County soldier who was recently killed while on duty in Afghanistan, are scheduled to arrive at Lunken Airport on Wednesday, July 15, 2009.
The procession from Lunken Airport to Nurre Funeral Home in Amelia will be as follows: from Lunken Airport, to SR 32 East; turn right on Old SR 74 in front of the American Legion Post 72 in Mt. Carmel; right onto Mt. Carmel-Tabasco Road then left on Clough Pike, where the processional will pass Amelia High School; and from Clough Pike turn right onto Amelia Olive Branch Road. The Nurre Funeral Home is located at 177 W. Main Street in Amelia.
Spec. Missman graduated from Amelia High School. He died of injuries sustained after an explosive hit his convoy in Afghanistan.
