Batavia, Ohio.  The winners of the 2012 Clermont County Humane Society Poster Pooch competition will be announced at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 3, 2012, at the Eastgate Petsmart store, located at 650 Eastgate South Boulevard in Union Township.  The top three dogs and their owners have been notified and will be on hand for the ceremonies.  The winners were determined by a photo and essay competition.  In addition, winners of a dozen other categories in the competition, including Cutest Ears and Best Pose will be honored.  Almost 100 dogs competed in the 2012 competition, sponsored by the Clermont County Humane Society, Board of Clermont County Commissioners, and the Clermont County Auditor’s Office.

 

Come see who will be named the Clermont County 2012 Poster Pooch, and visit with some of the great animals currently available for adoption from the Clermont County Animal Shelter, during a satellite adoption program on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at the Eastgate Petsmart.  For more information about the event, call the Clermont County Office of Public Information at 732-7597.
